Born and raised on the coastal lands of Charleston, S.C, Tim relocated to he Mountains of WNC at a relatively young age. After experiencing mountain living for the first time he immediately fell in love with the outdoor lifestyle and majestic mountain beauty. Attending and then graduating from Western Carolina University with a BA in Criminal Justice, Tim served as an officer in the U.S. Military for eight years. After his stint in the Military he relocated back to WNC, where he served 20 years as a Law Enforcement Officer in the capacity of Police Captain, Sheriff’s Detective and SBI Agent with the State of N.C.

Tim has always had a natural love for helping others, and with encouragement from his close friend Adam, he entered into the healing arts of massage therapy. “By far one of the greatest decisions he has ever made’, says Tim. Being gifted with healing touch and a talent for management, Tim worked part-time at the Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, N.C. and full time for over six years at the Canyon Spa at Lonesome Valley. During his time with the Canyon Spa, Tim worked as Lead Therapist, Assistant Manager and was eventually promoted to Spa Director.

Now Tim has joined the extraordinary team at the Cashiers Spa where he not only brings his talents as an exceptional massage therapist but his love for the business and an exceptional positive energy and outlook on life.

Tim’s unique style of massage combines modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Reflexology, Hot Stones, Aromatherapy and the smooth strokes of Esalen Massage.

When Tim is not spending time Healing Clients, He pursues his healthy lifestyle of outdoor adventures- including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and most recently , nature photography.
